Q: What is a Leader? What is a Host?
A:  A Host is someone willing to open their home on a regular basis to host a Life Group. A Leader is someone willing to lead the group in discussions and the bible study on a regular basis to host a Life Group. The Host and the Leader may be the same, however, it is not necessary to do both. The Life Group leadership will assist in your needs.

Q: How do I know if I am ready to Lead a Life Group?
A: You do not need to be a Bible scholar to be a Connect LifeGroup Host Leader. The only qualifications are a desire to learn, a network of relationships, and a love for the Lord & the body of Christ .

Q: Do I need experience in small group ministry to be a Leader?
A: No prior small group ministry experience is required to be a Leader.

Q: How do I become a Life Group Leader?
A: Simply fill out the Life Group Leader application form which is available in the church office or by request. After filling out the application you will be required to have an interview with Pastor Wes and the Life Group Coordinators.

Q: What if I cannot open my home to host a Life Group?
A: That’s ok! There are available restaurants, coffee shops, and numerous other venues that may be viable options.

Q: Will I have support?
A:  Yes, through training you will learn the many ways you will be supported.

Q: What is not a Life Group?
A: Life Groups are NOT - cliques, clubs, classrooms, organizations, therapy groups, or just bible studies.
